Refund and Returns Policy

1. Introduction

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all mobile app development and digital services provided by APPNOVATION LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). Because our work involves custom development, digital deliverables, and project-based work, our refund terms differ from traditional product purchases.

By requesting or using our services, you agree to the policy outlined below.

2. No Returns on Digital Services

We do not offer returns, as our services involve:

• Custom app development (iOS & Android)
• UX/UI design and prototypes
• Coding, backend integrations and cloud architecture
• Digital consulting and technical planning

Digital work cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted only in rare, specific situations and only at our discretion. The following rules apply:

3.1. Before Work Begins

If you cancel a project before we begin work and before any resources or time are allocated, we may issue a partial or full refund of any deposit.

3.2. After Work Has Started

Once we begin working on your project, all payments—including deposits—become non-refundable.

This includes work such as:

• App architecture planning & technical analysis
• UI/UX design, wireframes or Figma prototypes
• Backend setup or API integration
• Native or cross-platform development
• Cloud infrastructure configuration

3.3. Completed or Delivered Work

Once any deliverable, feature, design, or app build has been shared or deployed, no refunds will be issued.

3.4. Client Delays or Inactivity

If a client becomes unresponsive or fails to provide required materials, access, or approvals, the project may be paused. In such cases:

• Payments already made remain non-refundable
• Additional costs may apply for restarting or rescheduling work

4. Project Cancellations

A project may be cancelled by either party according to the terms stated in the Project Agreement. In all cases:

• All completed work must be paid for
• Deposits and milestone payments remain non-refundable
• Any third-party costs already incurred are the client’s responsibility

5. Revisions & Quality Assurance

Most projects include a set number of revisions, as defined in the Project Agreement. Revisions are not the same as refunds.

Additional revisions, redesigns or feature requests outside the original scope may require extra billing.

6. Third-Party Services & Costs

App development often involves third-party tools and services such as:

• Hosting, cloud servers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• API subscriptions
• Plugins, libraries, SDKs
• App Store & Google Play fees

These expenses are non-refundable once purchased and subject to the policies of the third-party provider.

7. Chargebacks

If a chargeback is initiated, we reserve the right to:

• Pause or terminate all ongoing work
• Pursue legal action to recover the disputed amount
• Charge administrative fees related to the dispute

We encourage clients to contact us first to resolve any concerns professionally.
